Lindsey will lead you through the enchanting processes of creating your very own plant based collage, directly inspired by the verdant abundance at Flora Bae Home. We’ll explore color and composition and you’ll have the option to move step-by-step or at your own pace. Collage is an engaging medium that is perfect for artists of all levels. Learn to see and use color in a whole new way! In this class, students will be introduced to color theory and color mixing with acrylic paints. We will create color charts, explore color relationships, and work with individual subject matter to play and learn how to make our artwork really pop!

Come get your collage on with this engaging series of projects led by mixed media artist Lindsey Claire Newman. Collage is a creative, approachable means of art making and is ideal for artists of all ages.

Lindsey will lead children through each project, beginning with tinting and preparing papers, designing and constructing the project, and decorating your final creation with papers and additional materials.

In this fun night out I will lead you through the enchanting process of completing a collage, including tinting and preparing papers, designing a composition that works, and, finally, cutting and gluing it all down. Our theme for this class is Nature and the Moon!

The workshop fee includes a glass of wine or beer and all supplies. Grab a friend and come get your art on while you enjoy a Thursday evening out.

Support your kiddo's creativity by working together on this experimental, customizable, and expressive project.

Lindsey will lead students (along with their adults) to make a hanging cardboard sculpture. Using Lindsey’s paper airplane sculpture, Mothership, as a jumping-off point, we will design, construct and decorate our own large-scale sculptures.

*This class requires adult assistance for children under 10.

This class is also not just for kids! Any adult looking to feed their desire to spark their creativity will enjoy getting their hands moving with this engaging and open-ended project.
